I have sent MBMagnolia several emails and even did the "report post" in an attempt to get a thread removed that has done it's job (I started it).

If another moderator can help or anyone else, the thread I would like removed is titled:

Trying to move on, not working 1.5 years later

Thanks, I've been trying all week, but no responses.

What,

I sent you an email day before yesterday and yesterday I edited your post for you.

As I explained in the email, if every member posted a topic, got replies, and then wanted the entire thread deleted it would defeat the purpose of the MB site altogether.

Is it fair to delete all of those who replied to you? Is it fair to those who lurk and learn? Is it appropriate that out of the hundreds of posts to this site daily yours must have special handling?

I have now removed your post. If you want what you write edited in the future, please click the EDIT POST icon.

Sorry I did not know aobut the 'edit' option.

I understand about the not deleting, but if it was something that if found could hurt someone else, then that should be an exception for everyone.Thanks.

PS. I haven't received any messages at my email or on this site ??

Whatalife,
I just happened to be passing by...let me say, MBMagnolia is a great moderator.

Please keep in mind that moderators are volunteers, we aren't on MB 24/7. All posters can edit the text of their own posts.

Just a little more info...Whether or not a moderator edits, deletes or moves a thread to moderator storage may depend on time available, whether the post/thread violates MB terms of service, or other considerations, as MBMagnolia says, if other posters have replied to the topic. A MB thread is a resource for more than the person who initiated a topic.

Purging all a poster's posts requires temporarily shutting down MB at some point and is generally never done by most moderators, but referred to admin so they can control the shut-down.

In most cases, if you make a post or initiate a thread, expect that they will remain on MB.
