Well, met with attorney today, went through the MSA and I signed it after writing in a few changes. It will go to the judge for his signature and then the divorce will be done! WOW, sort of an anticlimax after nearly 3 years of this stuff.

I also found out why the judge sanctioned me. He HAD to sanction me more than my ex, because if he didn't ex would keep appealing and this would never end. He worked it out sort of neatly that ex still owed me $2000, but it appeased the jerk enough that it looked like I was "punished".

So YEP, I got fined because my ex is an absolute arrogant a$$. I can't believe how much I had to give up just to get to the end of this.... there wasn't an equal division, but at least the kids and I are safe and free.

I also got kudos for the letters I wrote to DCSS and ex's boss about the nonpayment of child support and the cancelling of my insurance. As soon as the judge signs and the darn thing is final, the DAs can have at my ex. I hope they chew him up and spit him back out.

Lori,

I am glad that the end is coming near for you!!! It truly is amazing how stupid the people we married got!!! And we as BSers had to get smarter!!!

I hope that you end up with what is owed you and due!!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!! I am out of school!! But volunteered to teach crafts for VBS at church, so this week I am listening to 200 little kids go "Miss Dawn, I don't understand what I'm supposed to do". My family has vowed not to let me volunteer for this again next year!!!!

Dawn,

Kids are the greatest! They make you wonder how come you can't go back in time and be so carefree, so full of the future.

I had more fun when I started giving riding lessons. The kids that really wanted to learn were so much fun, the ones that had an attitude were generally fixed by the horse sooner or later. LOL

Maybe your family thinks you need some time for yourself? I'm trying to get it through to my kids that sometimes time for myself means I need to be with other people. That doing something for others really is doing something for me.

Have a great Wednesday, yourself!

lori
