I live in a small economically depressed area in Kansas that depends on God, wheat, cattle, and other crops for its livelihood. After many years of drought our prayers for rain have been answered in a big way. Though I’m not a farmer, I have always followed the art closely.

The talk of the area is that it is some of the best wheat in years and maybe even decades. Now the only thing that could hurt us is the rain that we depended on and is forcasted for tomorrow. Harvest is due to start as early as tomorrow and will be in full swing by the weekend, weather permitting. To all the professionals out there, I ask to imagine that your yearly livelihood depended on the weather for 3 or 4 days of the year.

So I ask that y’all please keep my community in your prayers.

Bill,
That is a nice sentiment. Now we need to add West Virginia to our prayers given the recent floods in that area.
