What do you think?

For those of you who have gone to plan B with your X's family... how did it work for you?

Have you thought about doing plan B?

How did it, or do you think, it will affect the kids?

My boys are 4yrs old, and 2 x 2yrs old. At present, H has supervised visitation (supervisors being my IL's ). They come to my home to pick up the boys, and then take them to meet up with their dad for the day.

However, I'm finding myself backstepping IMMENSELY, after each visitation. It's triggerred by the rude behaviour of my IL's. It's not so much what they do, it is what they DON'T do. No, "how are you?"'s, no "thanks you"'s for the gifts, etc. And now I know that they are going against my wishes for visitation (they've exposed the boys to OW, after saying that she was not welcome in their lives!). I know I'll still get the information from OS, about what went on for the day... but not having to see or talk to the IL's would be so much easier on ME (at least until after H's criminal trial is over... for the child porn possession charges).

Comments anyone? Do you have any relative experiences you could share? (things for me to beware of by the IL's, effects on the kids, etc).

Thanks!

Karen

Hi Karen,

IMHO, b4 you go and write them off, check out if they know what they are suppose to do if and when the WS makes stupid decisions like bring the OW around the children.

I think their response and matching actions will be your guiding answer. Then you can use their response to show whether they are fit or not to be supervising the visits.

NOTE: That is their WS (wayward son) you are talking about, very hard to admit one of your own has gone sooo bad.

NOTE2: Any OW who thinks she has a right to help herself to your things in your home (steal/damage and trash) those items, then be allowed to be around your children, s/b considered dangerous.

This is not to be used as a vengeful act, just portecting the safety of 'the' children.

Think about how you will gather and present this info.

Hugz,
L.
