For the past week or so I've been having dreams about my WH. I wake up every morning feeling so sad b/c in all these dreams we're together.
These dreams are about us getting back together and working things out.
And sometimes I wonder if my WH ever has dreams like this. I always wonder if he even misses me at all.
I don't know why I've been having all these dreams but, I am and they're making me miserable. I find myself missing him more and more each day, especially after having all these dreams about him.
How do I make them stop? These dreams are just making me miserable.

I think we all have those kinds of dreams... For me they usually show up after a few days of feeling really strong and then starting to wonder if I really need the other person in my life. Sure enough, God sends me a dream in which I wake up and know how much I still love the other person. I think dreams sometimes happen because we are so busy during the day, or we are so busy trying to "put things out of our minds" during the day, so our mind focuses on what IT wants to focus on, at night in our dreams...
What helps me is spending some quiet time in prayer, before I go to bed. Then even if the dream contains the other person, I somehow still wake up in a better mood... Yeah I will miss her, but I'll try to focus on the good feelings I had in the dream...
And about the other person having dreams? I'm sure they do. Whether they admit to it is another story...

Today is just not a good day! I just feel horrible today.
I keep thinking about my WH, I really miss him. I want my life back and I wish he did too.
I'm feeling really weak right now, to the point of feeling like giving him a call. And I know I shouldn't but I wish I could change his mind.
I'm just so upset. I don't want this divorce. I want to work things. I know I filed for divorce but so did he. And even if I stop it on my part we're still going to get this divorce b/c he filed also.
I just don't know what happened. 2 months ago he said he wanted to work things out now we're getting a divorce.
I think this is a big mistake! We've got to kids and one is just a baby, 4 months. I just don't want to do this anymore. But I can't change his mind. He has to not want it either and I wish he did.
It's such a horrible feeling to love someone for so long and they in turn don't love you anymore b/c they found someone else. It hurts like hell.
I just hate that he's doing this to our two kids. You don't leave a marriage for somebody else.

STBXWife,
There is definitely ONE thing you can do - stop your filing. Ever hear that saying "actions speak louder than words"? You can tell your husband this and that, but if you choose to put your filing on hold, or even stop it all together, that will speak volumes to him. Will it stop the divorce, maybe "yes", maybe "no"... but if it is something that YOU don't want, well then "why" should YOU file for divorce? Right?
Hey, I'm not saying that doing that would be easy - It would take a lot for you to stop your filing... But maybe that is what your husband might need to see?
I hear/read a lot about what is "fair" and what isn't "fair" in a relationship (especially the troubled ones), but ya know, God never said anything in life was "fair". When in doubt, I say be the bigger person - even if it still results in the end of the relationship, at least you will KNOW in your heart you did all you could...
Every time I read it here I sit and wonder - if someone doesn't "want" a divorce, why don't they simply stop the process (if they were the ones to file)? Hey, I'm not saying not to protect yourself with a lawyer, I'm just saying be TRUE to what YOU want - no matter what your spouse chooses to do...
I'm prayin' for ya! It is all rainy here and gloomy, so I know what you mean about it being a blah day...
It will get better though... Have faith.. Mike

STBXW, Sorry you are having such a bad day. I agree w/ the other poster, if you don't want the D at least stop your papers.
Are you on any anti-depressants? I know a lot of MB members advocate their use - espcially in the beginning. The reason I ask is I once tried Paxil. I all of a sudden began having very vivid dreams. It turns out that is one of he side effects of this med.
Good luck and remember to take care of yourself. tew

Prayer prayer prayer. Tell your troubles to god and ask for help. It was the only thing that worked for me. It did work too. Remember you can always turn to him for help.
Good Luck
