Well, H seems to think that admitting to cheating on me "one time, years ago." is sufficient and that we can just go on.
However, I pinned him down last night and asked him when he wanted to talk. He tried to weasel out of it by saying, "I thought we talked about this last night (Wednesday)." I told him that we made a start with our phone conversation, but that we have a LOT of stuff to talk through. He finally said, "We'll talk tomorrow night."
So, please pray that I can continue to hold strength and not lovebust while managing somehow to get the rest of the truth out of him. Right now, I feel like we're in a sort of "power" struggle and that it's very important that I hold onto the reins right now, lest we fall back into the same ol' rut where we don't talk about it if he doesn't want to.
I have decided that if he insists on having everything the way he wants it (sweep it all under the rug), then I will be moving into either the guest room or our camper.
I will continue to be sweet and loving toward him, but I will have to distance myself from him and hope that he cares enough to do what is necessary to get me back. This may, of course, backfire on me; but, right now, it's the only way I can see to handle things.
I'll let y'all know what happens tomorrow!
