Hi,
My boyfriend for the past year has been trying to divorce his ex for 2 years. She moved out of the home 2 years ago. (and moved in with another man.) My boyfriend was given sole custody of the 12 year old daughter and 5 year old son. Last fall because of the hours of his job, the court gave joint custody and primary residence to her. (he was gone all week) We see his son every weekend.
An offer to give her the house and keep custody the way it is was issued. No response until now. The ex wants to separate the issues.
CAN ANYONE TELL US IF THIS IS A GOOD IDEA FOR US? HAS ANYONE BEEN THROUGH THIS TYPE OF LEGAL ACTION? COULD IT BACK FIRE?
I have checked all the web sites i can find but i end up in american law even though i type canadian. Please and thank you for your help
