House appraisal came back Saturday via mail lower than expected. Wife is pi**ed. Now she wants to go BACKWARDS and retrieve HER half of my performance bonuses for the last 2 years!! She put a down payment on a NEW $200,000 home counting on every penny of mine and a mortgage for her. When I got those bonuses checks, I asked her if she wanted to split them 50-50. She said that they were mine, I earned them, and if we were to get something new for OUR house, I would buy it. I ALWAYS did that in past, but since we were having problems for last 2 years, I put most of my bonus $ in bank.

She did a HUGE LB vomit over weekend and got somewhat violent on dashboard in my car (it is still attached). Afterward, I said that if she did that again, I would disappear from home.

I'll be glad when this is OVER!!

I guess she's got a hard life lesson in store---never bite off more than you can chew.

I wouldn't sweat the bonuses. You did earn them, offered and she declined. I think you are in the clear here.
