#1 Last night on my way home from work I drove by a member of my church's house that has been sick for 6 weeks and noticed 10-15 cars outside. My heart sunk and I called another friend and found out that he had just passed on. He was a wonderful Christian, father, and husband. Please pray for Kenny's family.
#2 Then my mother calls after that and they are ambulancing my grandmother to the hospital for surgery. Her leg is broken in three places and probably has been this way for several weeks. Anyway she is 94 and any surgery is risky. As a matter of fact a dear friend of mine died last year after pretty much the exact same circumstances, she got an infection after the surgery....

Sending special prayers to your friend's family and your grandmother.
Could you add special prayers for my STBXin-laws? My MIL was hospitalized last friday after vomiting blood and collapsing at home. She received 3 units of blood and her bleeding ulcer that has been stabilized, but yesterday she was admitted to a home for people with Alzheimer's. This is probably a blessing for my FIL and SIL, who together have been caring for her for the past 2 years. Sadly, my STBXH doesn't even know any of this has happened since he's estranged from him family and deep in the throes of his addictions, so I'll be praying for him too.

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and most of all prayers.
As I am typing this my Grandma is in surgery. I just continue to pray for comfort as His will is being done.
