My husband moved out a few months ago...in love with OW..he says we are legally separated, but we have not filled out any forms or papers of any sort. I live in Ontario Canada, if anyone knows about this or where I might fiond some good info on the internet it would be great!!

PS, I dont want to be separated at all. i just want to know where i stand basically!!

In my state you would not be. You have no legal or financial protection. He has no legal obligation to provide any financial support. It is legally as if you are his wife. In my state.

I am in the U.S. I have no knowledge of Canadian law, however.

Click on the above link to display separation laws in Ontario. It state that:

"You are separated when you are not living together and there is no chance that you will live together again."
