Me and my fiance took a bath together and I heard that the bath-water will kill his sperm. Does anybody know if this is true. I can't afford to get pregnant. Any help would be appriciated.

Now, I'm no nurse or doctor, but I should think that bathwater would not kill sperm if he ejaculated inside of you... it is still possible for some to work its way up your vaginal canal. I have read sperm can live up to 5 days inside the recipients body, wheras launched eggs live only two. Don't count on the rhythym method alone for birth control, however. Next time, try getting out of the bathtub and slipping on a condom before engaging fully in intercourse. Relax for now, though- most of the women who get pregnant from unprotected sex only once are really fertile 16 year old girls... which is not to say its not possible, but unless you were around your ovulation, not quite so likely.<BR>I think you are thinking of frequent hot tub use, which has been shown to reduce sperm counts.
