Hey Everybody. I'm not doing to well. My wife is fleeing to Florida and I can't help but want to change her mind. she needs her space and I push her away. I don't mean to. It's just that I need her. She is the most important thing in my life.

You all have given me so much to think about and some really good advice but I called her today and wanted some info as to what her decision will be as far as moving. She says that she doesn't know yet and that she'll talk to me when she gets back. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone and nothing is making any sense.

She is the reason I moved up here and now she wants to move to Florida because we've had some troubles--not meeting each others needs and hurting eachother by looking elsewhere for them. I know I can be that person that she can stay in love with if she will only let me try.

I went to the lawyer to fill out a separation agreement and now I'm staying at the house while she's away. and it's so sad because we have to sell it soon because I've been living in an apartment for a few months now and she lost her job and can't afford the mortgage.

She says she wants to get away and start over but why can't she start over with me. I left her an angry message tonight when she didn't answer her phone. I also left a message for the friends she's staying with to let them know that I'm not happy and that I wanted to talk to them.

I know that I shouldn't be doing this but there is so much on the line that I don't want to sit back and just wait for my world to fall apart. I want to try and prevent that by staying in touch with her.

I'm losing her and it feels like everything I do to try not to makes things worse.

Can you all please tell me how you won back that special person in your lives in the fastest amount of time?

Not sure of all your details but I will recommend not only the many resources here on this site, but also a book...Love must be Tough, by James Dobson...wish I had this book and this site early on...My W had an A w/ my BF....I made all the mistakes early on and only after reading and truly understanding how to correct myself and her responses did it help...sadly, we had 4 false recoveries and now in the throws of a divorce, but it aint over till it's over...and when it is over, I will then as I do now know I did all the proper planning and best efforts to save my M...there is strength in that despite the pain...and more importantly, your W and family and friends will know you gave it your all...I can tell you, stop the angry outbursts and all the pleading...been there done that and all it does is cost you self respect and push your spouse further away....If you want this as I did, hang in there and know that it will be a bumpy painfu;l ride but if you save it, god bless you and if you lose her, it will be with the knowledge that you were loving and trying despite how she acted...
