I must say I am proud tht dd handles it as well as she does. But last night she told me that she was used to him not being there for her and if it doesn't bother her, why should it bother me.

But you know how you can tell when something really does bother someone even if they say it doesn't? Sigh.

While everything you said may be totally accurate, your means of presentation were a little disrepectful I feel. This thread actually was just to vent a little. Everyone has that right. But our purpose hear is to hopefully HELP EVERYONE. While we all have our personalities, education, and all those THINGS that have to attributed the way we are, we still want everyone here to win on this site. We all need to be able to state it as we see it.[the ability to disagree] That doesn't mean we won't change our minds later. But we all start somewhere. Maybe if you started out with "May I disagree" rather than the "crap" statement it would have been received more openly. I want to gain thru MB like everyone hear. Let's make our point, but respect is our CHOICE. Please, let's gain and not loose from this dicussion.I have learned so much.

Now back to torturing those scumbag x's. What about dipping them in hot chocolate, stuff a cherry in ther mouth and dropping them on the doorstep of the OW or OM? I'm game. I completely agree, I am sorry for my presentation and my disrespectful way of expressing myself. I in no way meant to act in the manner which I see I have done. It is not typically in my character, but I find that there are things that really set me off. That is no excuse for how I present myself and my view. What I said and how I said it were uncalled for, and although I stand by what I said, I am embarrassed by how I chose to say it.

I do apologize for changing the thread. I apologize to sufdb for the disrespect that I showed her viewpoint. I apologize to the other members here at MB. We truly must uphold each other, even in our disagreement. And I failed to do my part.

What you did was admirable. [apologizing] If only others [me too] had the backbone to do what you did. That takes real character and I applaud you for it. That attitude is what saves relationships and makes families work. How can sufdb not forgive you. Cmon subdb, we have some beating up on ex's to do. Can't stop now, it's in our blood.
My Mom past away not too long ago and they had been married over 50 years. My Dad was by her side when she went and I saw real devoted love. Society needs to visit the past some times.
Our differences on this site are created from lifes varying experiences, etc. But we ARE helping each other, especially me. I've probably had my wisdom increased 100 fold or more. We've got a good team on this thread, let's keep it going.

Has anybody ever put an ex on a rotissiere? what do you baste them with. Seasoning?

The only torture that I wish upon my ex is the torture of realization and reality.

I wish her no harm... although sometimes I would like for for everyone to know what she has done and how she has lied. Then she could live in her world without her ability to continue lying. Now that would be torture for her. For everyone to see her for who she is rather than who she portrays during their brief times together.

I can't imagine a torture more debilitating than my own conscience. There is nothing I fear more than my own honor and pride in my actions. While there are things I am not proud of, my honor and my heart have always been true. Me breaking that for myself would be my only true torture. But I know she has no such depth nor sense within herself...

FC - you are right that conscience would be the best revenge but I don't think that will ever work on my x.
