Well, haven't been here much, too many things going on with life in general, so too tired for the most part.

After total frustration about my kids, lack of Dippy paying child support (he still isn't wage assigned, told DCSS it is his company), I finally got some good news.

For those of you fighting to protect your children from abusive exes, check out http://www.protect.org/ . I was told to look at the CA site, and am looking into getting a branch started in my county. This has been going on for years; it is time to actually take a stand and protect the kids, not keep lining the attorney's pockets.

Also heard from both the local Victim Advocate and the State Victim of Crime representative about my daughter in residential therapy. They are looking to help with expenses and bring ex some accountability for paying his half. Both of my daughter's therapists are ready and willing to do what they need to do for her.

After 3 plus years, the slow, moss-covered stones of the justice system may finally start rolling. Lots of stuff in the air, just not too sure it is safe to talk about it here as never know if Dippy or cohorts read here or not.

What goes around comes around, though. His professional reputation is getting worse, fewer and fewer people want anything to do with him. He is self destructing. Even the co-owner of his house is getting married and moving out.

The girls and I are doing OK... it is hard, am in debt up to my eyeballs, but I can see that the future will take care of itself and we will be all right. Took time and a complete jerk to put us in this situation, now it will take time and hard work and we'll correct it.

{{{{{{{{Lori}}}}}}}}} I'm glad you're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, or that you at least have the faith that it's there! It really is amazing how hard it is and how long it takes to get out of the messes we got ourselves into.

It sounds like you, too, are grateful to have seen the light about your abusive ex (or is he like mine a SomedayTBX?). It still scares me that I so willingly put up with and made excuses for the abusiveness.

I also understand the concern about him reading here. I virtually never post except to respond to someone else's post since he knew I posted here, I'm not sure if he knew my name here, but he has all the time in the world since he hasn't worked at all in over a year, and really didn't work for the year and a half before that.

Thank God I don't have kids with my STBXH. When he left, his treatment of his niece and nephew, for whom we were legal guardians at the time, was one of the most painful aspects of his behavior, and definitely the hardest to deny! Good luck to you.
