My divorce became fine a couple of days ago, divorce I did not want. My kids are now members of an officially broken home. Never had a chance once wife filed 8 months ago, she would not allow me to see her or talk to her. I guess she got what she wanted. Of course she was in new relationship immediatly after kicking me out of house (with co worker and also to be divorced man). She couldn't wait to get her name changed back either, just as soon as it was finalized, that day she got new drivers license. I just want to thank the Marriage Counsilor (destroyer), that we saw for all of 20 minutes back in January, who told my wife it was too late, that she justed needed to file for divorce and that she was just chicken to, almost like a challenge to her. May that counsilor burn in the hell that she helps create everyday by helping destroy families.

I am so sorry to hear the pain you are expressing. Yes, divorce does split a family up, and there is no more unit for your family as well as mine. My husbaand wanted the divorce, and he got it. But now I am okay with the divorce. I still feel I have sinned, according to the Christian values. But Husband wanted it, so he won.
The epidemic is running throught he United States at a rate unbelievable. Divorce is climbing to a higher percent. Your wife, will feel the death of your marriage in time. She will see the pain that the kids are feeling. I know, my kids feel it, and it is hard for them. As well as myself. But I no longer dwell on the pain, I see it as real, and move on. Hurts like heck, but that is part of the betrayed spouse. The betrayer doesn't see the pain, and one day they will see what they caused and how much damage they did. For now, she will be living in high glory and thinking she has everything. When she sees the kids faces, and feel their pain, maybe that day will come and then the reality of divorce will be hitting her heart.
Get counseling for yourself, and join a divorce group. I am going to join a divorce group and do things with the divorced people. We will be doing trips, and having a weekend get away. It sounds like it will be a good time to interact with others in my situation. Hopefully, I will beable to talk to others that have been lied and stolen from by their spouses. That is what hurts, and that my husband doesn't seem to feel remorse or guilt about his actions.
Get counseling for yourself, and find a new activity in your life. When I recover from the pain and suffering of my back that my husband caused to me, I want to join a biking club. The Dr. said, as of now, I can't bike, too much trauma to my back. So maybe next summer. Then I can go camping and biking with the group.
Get into something that you like. If you like to camp, or birdwatching, or whatever. Find something that you can do to interact with people who enjoy the same things as you do. That is what I am doing. In fact, I am going out this Saturday with some people at church. I will be picked up, cause my van is untrustworthy. And we are going to go to Dearborn, to dinner and a christian comedy. Should be a lot of fun and LAUGHS. They have been there before, and they said, it is so much fun. All christian performers, and the food is wonderful. Nothing special, but like a grill sort of thing. No drinking, except for soda, and water. And no smoking of course. WEll, be good to laugh and enjoy myself.
I joined a local church, and have found great friendship in this church. They have become my second family. My kids don't go, that is there choice, and my x doesn't go either. He says church is not for him. So I go, cause I want to, and am really enjoying this church. There is none of that clashing in big churches. We all seem to get along, and the church is growing and more and more things are coming up to attend.
I have put my life in Gods hands. I have overdue bills, and I don't have alimony or child support yet. X-husband still hasn't done his paperwork. He posts here on marriage builders. And he can find to post, but can't find time to do the paperwork. He is obsessed with marriage builders, and so I let him be. If he wants to destroy me further let him. I am at the point, that God will take care of me. He promised he would take care of me financially, and emotionally no matter what. Well, I was told it won't happen. And this guy told me right, it isn't happening. So God is my savior, my life, my protector. I am giving this all to him. And I know my husband will be told by God.
Anyways, enjoy a relationship with the people of your church, if you go. Get into divorce group, and start doing thigns that you like and enjoy the environment of your choices.
But I am sorry that you are in the same shoes, and this is so unfair. But God never said that life is fair. Yes, your wife is an adulterous woman, and yes, my husband is an adulterous man. They will get their punishment sometime. Work on yourself, and become the person you want to be. I also, am in school at the University, taking 2 classes. I love school, and I love being in class. Husband doesn't ask about school, cause he really doesn't care. So that is another of his selfish acts. And I am just leaving it to God.
Good luck.
