Where do I even look for a divorce support group? I’ve checked the yellow pages. No, I’m not kidding. I’ve check my church web site, although it’s been ages since I attended. Nothing. So, any ideas?
And Newly, I know about Rainbows. But yours is about the closest, so that’s out of the question.

I had the same problem took me 5 months to find one. I called hospitals, went on-line and asked my therapist with no luck. My sister found one about 40 minutes from my home and I have been going to that one every Monday for 3 months. There is divorcecare and newbeginnings but it all depends on where you live. Churches sponsor groups contact them. I hope you can find one it has help me and I have made new friends. All of my friends are married so it was nice to go out with single people. Good luck!

The "Divorce Care" group has been recommended by many here at MB. But I'm sure each group is different and somewhat subjective. Here is a link to find one near you (hopefully) Divorce Care locator Also: Divorce Support Look at the bottom of the page, click on the appropriate state, and then it lists churches and other groups that host them in different cities/states. Hope this helps <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

The Women's crisis center provided a list of support groups, as did the local hospital's behavioral health department. I think I was lucky to find those I did. I also note some are listed in our local papers. Oddly, they fall under the "Singles" title in the magazine section of the paper. Keep searching, and ask your priest, he may know of some resources.
Keep in touch.
