Did good. Just got in from an interview and then one of my older girlfriends here took me to lunch. She's probably going to separate from her H. '
Same story w/Jethro, just a little less drama and poop. Successful businessguy. Pretty girl. And the OW from Florida who drove up in her driveway and sat there for hours waiting outside for her H. One child, girl age 6.
The interview was good. Was not for pharma sales but biotech sales and salary is about 65-70 which in south is good. Not much for bonus though. So I'd be happy with that all right. Do think pharma job is best for me. Please pray that I get the interview for that this week. Got another lead right in my backyard for a clinical (bleech) job right close to where I am..like one exit on the interstate away. Clinical friend of mine is following up on it today for me. Meanwhile I seach and search. But I am doing well.
Still poopy. And then I get this wierd IM yesterday from Jethro. Strange and about asking me personal questions. Kinda prying into my life and then saying he doesn't want to get involved in my personal life. Go figure. He says one thing and asks another. And then after last week I sent him an email saying we were praying for him (nothing like "I want you back or I miss you" or any of that poop...over that part a long while ago) he says in IM..."And don't send me any love letters." Geez. Wierd.
Anyway, so I have decided to for my own good, turn off the Jethro channel for a while. It's not a good show to watch especially since it's viewing is recommended only for those with Family Values...ha ha ...get it?
So son is going to miss soccer game b/c of his dad and FV wanting to go on a jaunt to WVirginia. After all...he said..."it's for son." yea right. If it were for the kids then why is FV going and her child? If it were for his child it'd be a boys' trip. He doesn't like the one on one thing...Has to have FV or somebody (in the past Monkeyho) to clean up and do what he doesn't want to do.
Oh and get the ultimate irony in this...I get asked on behalf of a science magazine which is for allied health/nursing professionals to be the keynote speaker next week at a ...get this one now...job fair. And I am out of a job! So I am supposed to speak to a crowd about the fantastic stuff in my profession and I am unemployed.
And then on a totally different level, there's the other irony...FV was in that wholesome, or whoresome magazine..depending on your morality level, Maxxim. She poses in a men's mag and I am keynote speaker for a Magazine. Take that you stuuupit sucmdog of a woman! Like my buddy at lunch told me today..you remind me of the outcome if scientists fused together gillian anderson and pam anderson! lol...
OW and I are definitely polar opposites looking, behaving, and of course, parenting and thinking opposites. Me being the plus side and her being the sleazy negative side.
Just a wierd day here. Good interview. Wierd day. Things are goin but crankin too slow for me. I want this whole job hunt to proceed at warp speed. And things just don't go that way when you want them to. I need for once things to go my way.
Please keep praying for my son and I. Pray for son that he is safe and that there is a hedge of thorns around him so he is hopefully not exposed to much of the poop of this weekend. Pray for his safety on the "family (values) trip". And pray for Jethro still. He's really lost and as I suspect (here's that word again Orchid.) conflicted...Pray for him to turn his life to God before things proceed to never never land with regard to his life.
I have fully accepted that I am a divorcee. That's the way it is. But I don't have to like the circumstances and when I find a way to pray for them and ask for change, I do. I know he might never change and I am not stopping my life to wait for that .00000001 percent chance it happens anymore. But I still pray for his healing and change nevertheless every day.
Pray for all this, the job, and of course my and my son's safety and healing. Love to you all...

I pray God will open the door to the job that he wants you to have!
This is the verse that I think of in regards to an unbelieving spouse. I think of it often in regards to my WW- That I cannot control their destiny. That it is in God's hands whether or not their life is written in the book of life.

Peachy, Good luck with the job hunt and yes you are still young! Are you trained as a nurse? I used to teach in the nursing chool and also in the biology dept before I had my son. I interviewed for a pharm sales job too but decided it wasn't for me.
but I have one question- Whats a clincial bleech job? I have never heard of that one before!

Wow.....what I would give to even have a job that paid $30K.
I'll say a prayer that God gives you what He feels is right for you.

I should have said "bleech" (as in the sound one makes when belching...Burned out on the clinical side basically.
And everything, salary too, is dependent on your area where you live..Cost of living is not exactly the cheapest in ATL. Back home in TN, salaries are lower, but so is everything else. In my profession, actually I was paid very moderately for the job I was doing. But luckily I had listened to my dad who wouldn't let either of his girls marry before obtaining our college degree. Dad was wise. But what has financially hurt me so much is that I was a stay at home mom for so many years and when Jethro left, he left and dumped all the debt onto me and said "see ya" and although I have been awarded the debt pretty much totally paid off by him, it is coming slowly in increments over about a nine month to year period. Thus, I am carrying alot on my back. His mode was to abandon us, force me to work again after being at home for so long and then get out of paying us by proving how economically viable I was. Never mind the debt he left..
So it is all relative to alot of things. If you have education, your options are a bit wider economically speaking. I taugh clinicals for a local college back home in TN. But no, I am not a RN. I am in an imaging specialty but have BS.
What was bad was it was all done, the divorce thing, kinda like a coup. Set up and planned. So that's been a part of my healing that's been really hard. To know that somebody you loved would actually plan to almost ruin you if you did not bend to their controlling will. Thanks guys for praying. I really need it.
Went to a new church today and did a women's Bible study. Made 2 new friends so that is good.
And one of the women endured a two year separation from her h because of his ongoing affair. They got back together shortly before divorce, but she told me that she had given up all hope...all of it. Her name is Carla.
So for those who don't have hope, I met Carla. They are doing fine now.
Went to lunch with them and although I had told the waiter to divide up the checks, when I quickly went to the bathroom before the entree came, they had snuck out to pay the bill. Why? They knew I wouldn't let them do that.
But they are soooo nice. And they have much older kids but they are cool.
Keep praying. Sundays alone are so hard. And thank you. God knows and has somehow shown us that we can make it. But it's not easy and yea, sometimes I get mad...Why should BS have all the fun and no responsibilities when we shoulder so much including much of the finances when they just go off and live la vida loca?
But their time will come. When their fog is lifted and they realize "what have I done?". My friend Carla said her H did it and she almost didn't take him back. That it took a few years after that to feel like she really was married anymore to him. But with God all things are possible. So I pray for everybody here and just hope upon hope that somebody who's from the divorcing board will find their family through God reunited and the WS forgiven and returned. Just once I want this.

Hey Justpeachy, If you're still looking or browsing churches, North Point Community Church is pretty good. They have a Divorce Care group. Tuesdays at 7:22pm they have an awesome service called 7:22 for singles with about 2000-3000 people, mostly the high school crowd but I still go because it is so awesome. I go here WildWood Baptis but it's in Kennesaw.
