i really dont know how to do this. a friend told me about the site and said i should visit. to give my background i have been married six years been together seven. we have never had the greatest marriage and we both agreed to that we shouldnt be together. but when he walked out the door it hit me like a ton of bricks. i thought it was going to be easy( boy was i wrong!!!!) that was a month ago. since then i have found out that he as been with two other women. our daughters birthday party was a little over a week ago. (we have two kids)well after her party he came over and told me he didnt want the divorce. i had mixed feelings because i knew about one of the women. during this talk i found out about the other one. i think this one bothered me more because we were still living together and the fact that he flew to another country to see her. then five days later he told me he wasnt sure what he wanted but he wants to be friends. then he says that people can get married to the same person twice. i dont know what to think right now. so some advice would be great. thanks

I'll make it, wasn't sure from the info you gave if you are already divorced. I'm rather new here and in crisis, too.

I would advise you to post on the Just Found Out board also. Sorry to say welcome to our little family.

You need to read all you can on this forum. Read the articles especially on infidelity. You ARE on a rollercoaster ride and what you are experiencing will bring with it every emotion you ever could feel. I suggest also that you go to the Just Found Out or the Questions Board. There are alot MB on those boards that are still in the process of bringing infidelity out into the light and still have hope of saving their marriage.

I do not think God wired us to have multiple partners so when your H involves himself with other women, it will confuse him terribly.

I always thought that ending my M was going to be the perfect solution to a hard journey living with a husband who is an alcoholic. Boy, I never went through anything so painful as the ripping and tearing and severing of my marriage. You have to go through every step of this battle to see what steps you need to take and there is no quick-fix. There is pain and suffering on both paths---recovery and divorce so you have to be convinced that you are on the right path to endure the pain and what is the right direction for you and your children.
