Hi again. I won't bug like you crazy as last time!
Looks like a rather down day on MB already--but it's early.
Have you overcome your paper stack yet?
Just wanted to hear how you are and let you know things are going great for H and I right now. We are very tired. I am putting in extra hours to prepare for a big event at work and that is causing not really friction but disappointment. The girls start school next Tuesday and I feel awful about the boring summer they've had.
I let myself be bullied by a potential volunteer into a Friday evening interview but it is 11's 12th bday then. (So I'll be calling her 12 soon [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] ) I think I may just work for the morning and take the girls out for the afternoon.
Today I have to run an errand for work so am including them in that outing.
The whole weekend is a whirlwind of activity. Monday is a holiday here so we hope to do a family picnic.
Guess I am still learning the need to set boundaries.
Well, time to leave for work. Hope you are well.
FS
Hi FS,
My shady past indeed. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Those ladies are just out to get me. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
It sounds as if things are going well. I am still digging out,but will be buried again soon, because I will be out of town next week, and by the time I get back more stuff will be here.
Oh! yeah the starting school. Our youngest (14) started today. Oldest is already in college and the middle one starts college in a few weeks. W spent and is spending a lot of time and money getting all ready for their adventures.
She is sad about the older ones. I am also sort of. But I think this is the natural progression of things so they need to head out and grow. Somehow it doesn't bother me as much, but I do worry about them and hope they do well. I think she misses the company. I am looking forward to a bit more time with HER. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
See us guys just have a one track mind. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Have a good day, and enjoy the B-day.
God Bless,
JL

If your W is the one track, you are on the right one!!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Thanks for the b-day wishes...I still don't want to turn 39 but I'm going to remain this new age for the decade and THEN turn 40!
A girl can lie about that, right? Maybe to herself, anyway
Hee hee...it will be such a treat in many ways for you and W to have more time although the pain of kids away from home must be wrenching...I'm sure your children will be in touch!
Good luck with the work heap!
