Hello All, To start I've been to a bunch of forums and this one seems to be the most active I've seen!
Sorry but's a long story. About me: I've been divorced for just over 3 years and have two wonderful children. About my GF: She's been divorced just about 3 years also. She has 3 great kids. We Met at work about 2 and a half years ago. We started a serious relationship soon after that. We fell in-love very quickly.
Things were going great up untill about 5 months ago. I for some strange reason started getting very insecure about "us". I was getting jealose over her ex-husband. I started to consume me. God did I hate that feeling. About 4 months ago she started saying we shouldn't see each other as much. I felt like I was loosing her. I started feeling desperate. I felt like I lost all my self respect. I was practicaly begging for time with her. I was always in tears. I then started to stay home instead of going to her house after work. I would call her or she would call me each night. We would go out on weekends and then I'd sleep at her house. Well this went on up till a few weeks ago. I went to her house on a Saturday morning with some coffee and she told me her ex-husband needed a ride from her to get his car. I was scared at the thought of this but said ok no problem. She left soon after that with her son to give him a ride. A few hours later I called her to see how it went. She said she would call me right back that her and her ex were getting some food for there son at McDees. I said ok and hung up. About 15 mins later her ex called me on my cellphone threatining me. He said I was driving her crazy and to back off. He also said that he and her were trying to work things out. He said "in these words" I've been F*cking her for about 6 months, I was shocked!. While he was threatining my life on the phone my Gf called on the other line. I hung up on him and confronted her on this. She was shocked and very upset by his call. She said that they have not had any physical contact at all. I do believe her on that. But she did say that she cares for him still. I was so hurt. So I had her bring all of my things at her house to mine. She was sobbing when she arrived. She said she never wanted to hurt me. She said that she made a mistake going from marriage then right into a heavy relationship. She said she needs to find a place for her old feelings for her ex. Well as it stands now she saying she doesn't want him back. They were together for 17 years and couldn't make it work. Also he was emmtionally and has been physically abusive. He also cheated on her. She now tells me she still loves me and want to take it real slow. She doesn't want the burden of a realtionship right now. I know I've been co-dependant towards her. I'm getting meds and therapy to help myself. I feel I've drained her emmtionaly. We now talk a couple times a week on phone or by email. We are going out on a date next Thursday. We meet on mondays for coffee. She says she has alot of hope for us in the future. But she needs time. I truely love her with all my heart and want to wait for her. I've never felt like this for anyone, even my ex. What I want to know is am I a fool? Does this seem hopeless to anyone? Should I just move-on and start my greaving process? Any advice would really help. Excuse my spelling please.

Hello again. I forgot one important thing. My GF has been on hormone pills because of a full hysterectomy. Well she hasn't been taking them for over 6 months. I was told that can cause alot of emmtional problems. Just to let everyone know she started back on them this week.
