For those of you who are divorced how is the portion of daycare and or medical/dental expenses divided between yourself and your ex? For daycare in MN they take the NCP's net AFTER child support is deducted and the CP's net AFTER receiving child support and then decide the percentage each pays from those two net amounts. However, for the uncovered medical/dental costs they take the net from both parents BEFORE child support is paid. This does not make sense because they are basing it on the NCP's net that he or she really doesn't have.
