A brief history here, I was here back in May, my H had been having an "emotional affair" that is all he admits, I found out, was going to leave he begged and went to counseling, ok we went 2 times things were really good then I wanted to go back cause things weren't right, things got bad and finally he said it was over for him on our first counseling session. This was after a physical confrontation and he got a DUI that night as well. Then I found an email to another girl he use to work with and about their "relationship" she is married and has a son also. Needless to say I was so angry I broke his computer and stero, his prized possesions. He is bipolar and has had a rough time lately. I asked several times if this is what he wanted and he said yes, my mom flew out to AZ helped pack me and my 6 yo son (another marriage) and now we are in VA. I told him before I left that I loved him very much and if he wants to get his life straight and get help and get himself together that I would be there for him, my hopes were for me to come here, get some help for my own issues and him come here and work on the marriage. He said he wanted that too but now I have a hard time believing anything he says. Should I move on but wait, and keep contact with him, I need some advise here, please!

This is truly a time of complete upheaval, but take a deep breath and minute to calm yourself. Everyone on this board is caring and wants the best for you. Your best bet for lots of responses is in the Just Found Out section. The support you will get there will be tremendous and go something like this:
1. Read everything here and Surviving An Affair
2. Consider individual counseling and anti-depressants
3. Look at yourself and how you could change who you are to have made your M work. The changes make for yourself, and they will be highly attractive to H or whoever you are with next.
4. Pray for strength and love. I'll be praying for you son, I'm sure this is tremendously hard on him. Hold and love him, and tell him you are doing the best you can.

Best wishes
