I'm almost at the end of my divorce, and scared to death. I've always been with someone, and living alone is lonely. I currently live in the marital property, and will soon have to sell because I certainly can't afford the cost to buyout H.
Financially, I may have to move to my home town, leave my grandchildrenand daughter who live so close. I'm in a rut, don't know where to go from here.

[tosses in my two cents]

- Don't wait to sell until you have to... be proactive and do it now. It'll give you something to do and make you feel like you're taking back control of your life.
- Think about all the things you've always wanted to do or have been interested in trying and do those that seem reasonable to you.

You'll find someone else. You've made it this far. It's not the end of the world. You'll be just fine. Intellectually, you know this is true. Promise yourself that you'll be patient with life and especially your own feelings because things will and do get better.

I wish it were that easy. You see, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
And, seeing him with the o/w, well, just broke my heart the day we went to court over his trespassing. You see, I was "physically" abused for the first time in my life, and
I never thought I would go through that. Selling our home does mean a "fresh start",
but, I know I can't sell unless he signs, I tried. He seems so "proud" of himself, and still , after all this time, acts as if he done nothing wrong. And this O/W knows what he did to me, in fact, he was running with her, advertising himself on the net, and it doesn't bother her one bit about the fact that he was a married man. And me to find someone else, feel "content" with someone else? Well, at 50, I'm like a "fish" out of water, don't even know hwere to begin. Never had friends, was quite content with just hubby and our children. Thanks for "listening".

Could I suggest you find a good support group to encourage you and do activities with? Churches, YWCA, whatever will occupy your time. Be active, exercise, eat right. Concentrate on changing yourself, with the Lord's help. You can do it! God bless!
