I bought this book about 2+ weeks ago and still have not started it. I would love to do this with another man. Is there anyone out there that still is looking for a partner? If not, I need to start it.

I would like to start it, and actually have the forums set up for it if anyone else is intrested. Just another thought, as it seems that there are some things the the opposite sex members might want to discuss, I could set up to reply forums in addition to the general one. One for the ladies and one for the men.
Granted....you all will have to find a way to prove to someone, either me or a lady that is willing to be the moderator for their forum that you are who you are .

Hey y'all, Another new week, another new day What are the parameters? Would two or three chapters a week suit everyone, or would that be too fast (or too slow)?
It doesn't matter to me if we're in segregated forums or not. It appears that there are similar numbers of guys and girls. I see how it might make people more comfortable if we were segregated, or at least if email addys were given in order to have more privacy if the occasion arose for more private sharing.
TrustingHer, you must be a web guru! VERY nice site, I'm impressed! I would agree about the copyright things, though.
So what's the plan? [ November 24, 2003, 06:23 AM: Message edited by: avondale25 ]

TrustingHer, do you feel like your being ignored, so you know, you’re not.
“””What are the parameters?”””
Well this is what I’d like to see – 2 chapters a week, discuss one Mon – Wed and the other Thu – Sat. Granted someone can always go back and post to an existing thread, the likelihood of getting much input after all have moved on is not good.
I hadn’t even thought of segregation and I personally believe that I would benefit from views and opinions of men and women, old people & young people, new believers and old believers, divorced and not divorced, wayward and betrayed, etc. Many of us here already share e-mail addresses and when I was uncomfortable with that I’d create a “dumby” hotmail account for free, use it once and close it.
I think using the site “TrusterHer” has set up is a great idea, however, I am worried about the copyright thing as well. I sound like most all us have got the book already.
Anymore input from anyone? If not, let's get the ball rolling and start Chapter One.

I posted (such as it is, lol) on Trusting Her's website. Since I'm on the east coast, does that mean I'll always be the first one posting? If so, I might wait until after work to see what nuggets y'all have come up with!

*waves hand* I'm one the east coast too. But i do most of the reading and typing at night.
The full test can be removed at any time. I'll just blow it away and touch on the highlights of the chapter.
For that matter. Anyone can start a new chapter with what they feel is the most important thing to them and the rest can follow suite.
I have attempted to contact the people about the copyright thing. Worse case is that I will be the only one who gets in trouble as it is my site. I have sent emails to them with no reply yet. I even used samil mail and sent a letter asking for permission to do just that but no reply yet. They did receive it as it was sent via certified mail. Maybe I'll get a reply soon.
But until then...we will just hit the highlights of each chapter as they apply to us.
Is that OK?

I am with keeping the forum open to all. Would be nice to see everyones point of view. And if discussion is needed beyond the forum, they can privately email.
When do we start? 2 chapters a week will work, I have school till the 12 of December. A big exam coming up.

Maybe I got ahead of the game here, thinking we had already started, LOL. For some reason I thought we were posting on Trusting Her's website. Or are we posting here? And when do we "officially" begin?
As for the copyright thing - maybe we don't need to post each entire chapter, since everyone seems to own the book. Could you just write the "Thinking About My Purpose" section for each chapter and then give responses to those items in particular, and the chapter/book in general if applicable. What do y'all think?
F4M - I think 2 chapters a week is great, gives time to really get to know one chapter for several days. I have already enjoyed pondering chapter 1 over and over!

Let's start on TrustingHers site, chapter 1, from now through the 3rd. Then start chapter 2 of the 4th.
I, too, was planning on posting this week but my schedule hasn't allowed it.
Happy Turkey Day to all.........
