Well, pigs are flying today, because I heard something today that I thought I would NEVER EVER hear in my lifetime.
Miracle #1: My exH APOLOGIZED!! Can you believe it???
He said, (and I quote) "I realize all those years we worked together what I put you through and I'm sorry. You worked hard to do a good job and I wanted everything perfect or else I just threw it aside like it was worthless. Well it wasn't worthless and I'm sorry I treated you like that."
Blow me over with a feather!!
I can honestly say that I really never thought he would ever see that he had done anything wrong (ever)...and if he DID by some miracle see it, he would NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE admit it to ME!! haha
Okay, sit down folks 'cuz here comes Miracle #2.
Miracle #2:
My exH has admitted to himself that he has a mental illness AND is going to a psychiatrist to try to get some meds to help him!!!!!!!
What in the world is happening??
The best golfer in the world is black The best rapper in the world is white The Germans DON'T want to join in a war The SWEDES do AND...my ex is admitting he's wrong and taking meds.
Someone pinch me--I'm pretty sure this is some sort of odd dream.

sounds good, but it has to come with a caveat....what does he want?
If nothing but to set things right..great...but if a prelude to getting something from you, not so great.

Sufdb, I was thinking the same thing. Last March I had 2 of the same miracles happen. He admitted how he wronged me so many times, said he was sorry and then he would spend the rest of his life making it up to me. Then after swearing to anyone and everyone he would never marry again, guess what he asked me and I was dumb enough to say yes after a little persuasion. I think he only asked me because for once in my life I was not worrying about being married. I was working and in school. Marrying him would mess up my grant money anyhow. He was used to me hassleing him to marry me. So his goal was to win the game.
He failed to mention his love was conditional this time. So I lost everything, my job, school and the marriage because I was so shocked and believed his miraculous admissions, and apologies as well as shocked to death by the proposal.
But I hope from the bottom of my heart for FaithfulWife, that he is sincere! I know not all men are like my ex. I hope all works out in the end.

That is just incredible CJ. I think that goes to show you how well you've handled yourself all along. Congrats! All I've heard from my STBXW lately is that she wants me to help pay for her appeal of the judge's decision in our divorce and that she was trying to help me feel better by taking the kids and MIL to a neighbor's home to celebrate our oldest son's b-day with presents and cake before I got home. Oh yeah, made me feel a whole lot better.

Faithful wife - you are experiencing a miracle, or maybe God is working in your husband! Would be nice if my xhsuband, would admit to me in a thoughtful way, all that he has done to hurt me and the kids and family. Would be nice for him to admit to me that he has an emotional imbalance and is depressed. Instead he says it was meant to be, like he posts here to all of you. But of course, he won't and will only do what he wants. I know my husband has Satan powered over him, and God is working on him. I do have myself and my family in prayer at church. That is all one can do.
You are experiencing Gods work in his life. Gods work in this man realizing the pain he has caused. I praise God for his glorious work.

cool. that is cool.
And you're hilarious about the golfer and the other stuff. I didn't know the swedes wanted to go to war now? huh. learn new stuff each day.
And guess somewhere in some lab, they did in fact genetically create some pig which has wings.
I do pray and second the thoughts of sufdb...That he may be trying to do something to just get something from you. But I hope it's a for real change in his life.
Enjoy your weekend. Here's to winged porcine!
