the other part is that you just might have to move if you feel you can't live alone, although that actually might just be the best choice. . .

Being married for 24 years is a long time. Are you sure you want to rush out and start over? Things aren't always what they seem to be. I've been married for 17 yrs. and now I am at home waiting for my wife to return now for three years. My wife does not talk to me. I pray for her and hope she returns someday.

Hi 43&alone - I'm 44 and alone. My husband left me for another woman 7 months ago and we've been separated (on his request) since then.

I will recommend that you don't give up on your marriage just yet. Read so many posts here at MarriageBuilders as you can.

You write very little about your situation and it will be easier to advice you if you told us a little more. How is your relationship with your husband now? Under which circumstances did he leave? What is the reaction from your kids?

I would suggest an art class - a cooking class - the church... do you have a hobby? a job?

Is it important that you meet people your age? Meeting younger people can be so much fun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> - and people older than you, can provide wisdom and hope.

Take your time to heal and make a plan for what you need to do to make YOU happy.

You are in my prayers!
