If you're stressed, destressed, or overwhelmed... consider viewing Return of the King either tonight at midnight or tomorrow...

- It's long and engaging, even if you're depressed.
- There's no marital strife or affairs.
- The bad guys "get" it.
- The good guys win.
- It's a point-counterpoint to the drama that you're going through.
- Later, when you're with those who care about you... they'll be proud of you for getting out and about and you can tell them all about the movie - even if you hated it.

If you're queasy about sitting in a theater by yourself... compensate with a huge tub of popcorn and take faith.

He he, I was just thinking of going to see this and wondering - Should I go at 12am and be up till almost 4am by myself? Or should I wait and see if I can get someone to go with me at a more normal time of the day.

I can probably guarantee you that there will be many many guys at this particular movie by themselves anyhow so we'll all fit in! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Lyxa,

I actually haven't seen either of the first two movies...I was thinking of waiting till the third one came out on DVD and having a weekend marathon.

How have things been going...I haven't seen you posting lately, then again, I haven't been posting much over the last month or two either. It's been very busy.

Hope things are going well.

Even if you haven't seen the other two, this 3rd movie almost stands by itself once you figure out who the characters are.

I just got back from seeing it. A+ rating. I'm going again tonight.

Things with me are going great Hoping. I'm dating a wonderful girl for 3 months now and getting ready for a Christmas that will kick last year's Christmas in the butt. Oh yeah... you can say "butt" on MB and not get censored. ;-) My girlfriend has a 2 year old daughter and was divorced almost exactly like me... her x had many affairs, etc. We get along great.

My x-WW is like a thorn in my side but my last spousal support payment is in a week and then, as I understand it, she's marrying some loser. She called my dad a week ago for marriage advice and to confirm that I wasn't going to want to get back together with her. I kind of feel bad for this guy... I mean, if my girlfriend was calling her x-dad in law and wondering about getting back together with her x... I'd not want to marry her. But, I guess such is life. My heart goes out to him.

Woo hoo...I am with you on this one Lyxa. I have my ticket for 2:40 tomorrow afternoon. My whole office (well, most of my office) is going together. We all saw the first two together as well.

Boy do I need several hours to forget it all right now. I usually don't see movies a second time in the theatre - I wait and get it on DVD if it was that good. But I don't know, if one viewing isn't enough to take my mind off everything, I might have to take in a repeat....

I went at the 12am show and it was awesome! Except, my wife was there with her friends and although I was happy to see her, it was REALLY weird seeing her enjoying the movie with her friends in the row in front of me. She did share her candy with me but overall, it was a weird experience that kinda freaked me out. But really...how many other people will that happen to? Take the advice and go see the movie. It's awesome!
