I AM THE VICTIM OF AN AFFAIR WHICH MY WIFE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN FOR THE PAST YEAR. I BECAME AWARE OF THIS AFFAIR IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR AND CONFRONTED HER ABOUT IT. SHE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS OVER BETWEEN US AND THAT SHE WAS MOVING OUT IN JUNE TO LIVE WITH HER LOVER. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN, AND SHE PURCHASED A BOOK "SURVIVING THE AFFAIR" BY WILLARD HARLEY, WHICH SHE READ AND THEN GAVE TO ME. WE THEN AGREED TO START THE HEALING PROCESS ONLY TO HAVE HER PUT IT ON HOLD CLAIMING SHE CAN'T GET PAST THE BITTERNESS SHE FEELS TOWARD ME. SHE IS STILL COMMUNICATING HER LOVER, HOWEVER I DO NOT KNOW IF SHE IS SEEING HIM OR HAVING SEX WITH HIM. MY PATIENCE IS WEARING THIN, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN HOLD ON BEFORE I GIVE UP AND LOSE THE HOPE OF HEALING THAT GOD HAS ME CLINGING TO.

I am sorry you don't have much progress yet. There isn't a lot of action here on Other Topics. Try posting for help on the Plan A and Plan B forum. They can give you very appropriate advice and feedback to fine tune your Plan A to separate your wife from her lover. Also consider counseling with the Harleys to work out a more effective approach to plan A.
