someone tried to steal my car on 12/23... what a crappy christmas present... they were unsuccessful at the the theft, but left me with $1200 worth of damage... oh and did I mention I just bought the car on 12/20
And then as if to rub it in my face... I lost my wallet on 12/31
and if that doesn't make it bad enough... my husbands leaving me...
what a lousy christmas this has been....

Brie,
I am so sorry. Maybe it would help if you think of it as the cup half full. It helps me. Even though I complain about the last year I try to look at it as, "At least I had the money to by space heaters, a job to pay for my car, lucky I had a car mechanic that was willing to break it out in to two payments, so forth...
For instance, you had good luck because you still have a car as they were unsuccessful in getting. Hopefully you had insurance and they will help too. You are lucky that you didn't have all your Christmas money in your wallet and lose your wallet before Christmas so that no one would get presents. AND maybe some day when a man comes a long to appreciate you then you can say you were lucky jerk-head left you because this guy treats you better. It's at least worth a try to look on the bright side of things.
Hope things get better, and I know my suggestions may not help yet as everyone needs to get on a pity-pot from time to time.
Take care,
Anna
