Things have not changed much for my husband and I. He says he is finished, then he acts like he is not sometimes. I told him this morning that I will leave next week. I do not want to do this, but I feel like I cannot hold on any longer. I feel like I am being strung along. It is so hard, when he thinks that we do not have a chance. I have admitted my mistakes and want to move on, but he keeps bringing up things that I have done to make him feel the way he feels now. If you want to read some of the details it is on the forum under Emotional Needs, "e-mail i received from mb that cannot post." Thank you for listening.

Oct.
I recieved this e-mail from a woman who only has internet access from work and when she trys to post, it is blocked by her company's internet restriction policy. She can only read the boards which is the only way she could have gotten my e-mail address(In my sig line).
I went back to the original message that I posted for her but there wasn't much in the way of a response, here or on the EN board.
Here is the original she sent me. If anyone can help, she can read replies here and I have no problem relaying messages through my e-mail.

quote:
Hi, I hope you mind that I am e-mailing you, but I am desperate. I cannot post anything on the forum or chat because the site is blocked on my work computer. Unfortunately, our internet at home is not working either. Anyway, I am in the need for some serious advice, I feel like I am losing my mind and life. I have been married for a year. Throughout the year, my husband and I have had our ups and downs. I have had anger outbursts (which i am happy to say that I am starting counseling for) which has caused some pain on my husband. I have said some very, mean things to him, like "I hate you." I have also caused some physical pain on him while i was angry. Yes, I would hit him. Sometimes these outbursts occurred while we both had been drinking alcohol, but also while no alcohol was involved. Two months ago, I felt like he had feelings for one of our girlfriends (she is also married). It seemed like he was paying more attention to her while I was around. One day, I checked his cell phone because I was suspicious. She called him three times within a 1-2 hour time slot. The last call lasted for 20 min. I blew up on him for this and left to my girlfriend's house for the night. I asked him if he was attracted to her, and I received no initial response. Eventually, he told me "I don't know and that he enjoystalking to her." Where we are now?......well, it seemed like things were going uphill, however, he didn't show me much affection unless it was in bed. I forgot to mention that our intimacy in the bedroom remains excellent. Anyway, I started feeling a little down and lonely like I was losing him and like he didn't want to be around me. I went to visit family last week and was gone for five days. I came back and this week has been horrrible. He is worse than he was before. He hardly talks to me, does not show any affection unless it is in the bedroom and finds ways to not be around me. He said he need some time, so twice this past week, he was gone for a few hours during the evening. The worst came last night, he said he wanted to hang out with his friends and that he needed time. I told him that if that is what he needs than to take it. He left at 1pm and returned at 3am. By the way, I was home alone with my step-daughter (i have been for the most part this past week). Between these hours he did stop in at 6-7 to check on us. After that, I did not hear from him until he came home. He was drunk and he went to the bar with some of our friends that had invited both of us to go out. He does not think that he did anything wrong. I have been reading through the website and I am trying to give and not get and I remind him everyday how much I love him and that I am going to give our marriage 100%. He thinks that we have nothing in common anymore and he told me that he doesn't know what he wants. I am trying to be strong, but it hurts when I get no response from him. He refuses to go to counseling and he says that he has been trying. He has not and it seems like he wants to give up so easily. Oh, and he said he gives us two weeks, so everyday he says 11 days left, 10 and now we are at 9. We built a family with his daughter, she loves me very much as I love her. Now, he seems like he wants to throw all away. I apologized for my past outbursts and told him I would get help, I also told him that I would spend the rest of my life making it up to him. I love him so much and want this to work, I am so tired of the pain. Thank you for listening

To WIWH "friend",
I don't know how long your situation has been going on or any other details like how long you were married but you should be in Plan A right now and don't move out.
Aside from the possible alcohol and anger issues, you need to review what love buster's(LB's)and disrespectful judgements(DJ's) are and the other concepts here.
Since it sounds like your H is undecided about you, show him lots of affection and respect and see if he'll try filling out the EN's questionnaire if he won't go to counseling with you right now.I don't know if your H is in an affair or not but Plan A is your best bet right now. It's good too that you are in counseling for your anger and hopefully some other aspects of your life are covered in these sessions too.
Lastly,if your H is staying out late at night and his whereabouts are not accounted for and he keeps calling and contacting that OW then you do have a right to question him about that and even snoop around for details. You should know if this relationship has crossed that proverbial "line" whether he tells you about it or you find out.
Your step daughter also needs both of you right now to show her responsible, caring, loving parents and that she can rely on you both. She must be scared not knowing what exactly is going on.I don't know how old she is or what you have told her but kids know when things aren't right at home.
I'm sorry that I don't have much to offer.Hopefully you can get your internet access up at home so we can post to you more frequently on a one on one basis instead of going through WIWH.Good luck.
O
