Tonight I bought my kids Valentines gifts. For daughter and new son-in-law I bought "His needs, Her needs". For my son and fiancee I got a gift cerficate to Applebees and my youngest daughter I got a gift card for Best Buy!!
What do you think are these ok gifts for kids my kids ages?
Box came in mail today from x for kids, YD got a stuffed puppy and gift card. OD got a card, probably a gift card inside, but nothing for son!!! He was crushed! He brushed it off, cause it was Valentines, not a guy holiday!
Kind of wish I was getting something from someone, anyone!!!!
I did send a couple of cards out to both male and female friends with no names, thought they would have fun trying to figure out "Who sent them"!!!!
Hope that everyone here has a really good day!!! It is one of those tough ones to get through!!!!

Hey, daybreak have a wonderful day. Bowling sounds like it will be fun. I know your son was crushed, and the X should of at least sent him a card and gift too. But you know how these wayward spouses are, they don't think about everyone.
Have a great day, and enjoy yourself. I am going to spend my day at the library again, and then I have a guy at school, a very young guy, that works with the government. He said he would help me with my policy memo. So I am going to work on this Saturday, and then e-mail it to him, he gave me his e-mail, and he will tell me what to add, delete, revise or what. He is really a nice guy, and very educated, and very into the government and issues of health and the upcoming election.
So that is my day, to treat myself to my own valentine, of a hot bubble bath for the night, and a little bit of reading for fun. At least, I can cuddle with the pillow I use for my shoulder pain. God loves us, that is what counts.

sunrise,
I had a great day I can just imagine yours and the flower business!!!Don't miss that at all!!!
I gave out green kisses Saturday morning to my bowling kids, (Chocolate kisses left over from Christmas)
Bowled that night and ran the sweetheart bowling, everyone had a good time and two people came up and thanked me for running the event. My partner and I won two of the 4 awards only accepted one of them though!!!
My kids thanked me for their gifts, my son three times!!!! My OD is really getting into her book and her husband is waiting for his turn!!!
I have the day off tomorrow and am going to take all the woodwork out of my bathroom, scrub it, prime it and paint it!! So the day is busy!!!
How are you doing? Did you get the x to stop coming over to help? Just tell him he didn't want to be a part of the family any longer and one of the consequences of that is not getting to play with all the toys that acculmulated!!! Sorry!!!! Empathy, show him empathy, It just kills them. I am taking a Love and logic class right not!!! Had listened to the tapes a few years ago and have been using it when dealing with x, he hates it!!! Oh well, I am sorry, he made the choices that he wanted in life at this time!!!!
Anyways!! Have a good week!!!

HI!!!!
No the silk flower business is not as bad as fresh..I wouldnt be able to handle that anymore. I have been extremely busy however with just the usual spring stuff. Converting the whole store and keeping up with customers. My department has consistently had the highest sales in the whole company (about 80 stores)I think maybe I only missed 1 week in the last quarter. Just me and a one great old lady plugging along. I am due for a rasie next week..lets see how that relates to my paycheck (im sure zilch!!)
That is why I am in school full time Nah...ex still appears here and there and maybe be coming in house when no one is home. I am getting cheap ($100) web cam when I get my taxes back. It takes motion activated pix and sends them right to my email. well see what develops from that.
gotta go study for test tomorrow It is going to be my toughest test. Pray for me (math ) smiles, Dawn

What about the locks? Can you change them or have them rekeyed?

Not a bad plan. Could a locksmith do something about the locks?
