I had to make one more post. I can't send this to her or leave it for her. But if she decides to come here and seek help I hope she finds this. I am entering into another gray period as I took some signs the wife was interested in coming back and way over reacted and pushed her away again with talk of reconciliation. I guess I have set things backwards quite a bit with my over zealous behavior. I'll learn, slowly but I'll learn. David
Oh Monica where have you been Are you with me at least every now and then You come and go Like the ebbing flow of the tide My life is empty without you here by my side
For 21 years we were man and wife And now you want to leave me behind And go and start a new life Release your other love and give us one more try I can’t really feel this is the time for us to say goodbye
Your needs have changed and I didn’t realize I didn’t see the change in your mood or the look in your eyes I was so blind the worst kind of blindness that there can be Please don’t tell me it’s to late now that I see
I pray to the Lord every night and day That he help each of us find our separate way And if it be his will that we join together once again Then I know we could have a marriage better than its ever been.
I leave you with three words, Faith, Hope and Love I withdraw from you and leave it in the hands of the Lord above I must move forward and work on building a new life While all the while hoping that someday you will again be my wife

DavidA,
Wow! What a great poem. I feel so much the same with my STBXW and I wish that I could express the same to her. I wish you the best of luck!
Remember this: God knows you, God cares, and God is working in you....
Good luck and God Bless,
r0uter
