I invited him to take our daughter to the Exhibition tomorrow. He accepted and boy am I nervous! I admit it--I'm using my daughter as a tool. He misses her. It hasn't even been two weeks since he's been gone.
We haven't even told her yet. She's 6-1/2 and very precocious. He wanted to ease into it. I've been waiting for her to bring the subject up. She hasn't. She only knows that he had to go away for awhile. I don't want to spoil tomorrow for her.
I've decided now that I will work on myself. Join a fitness club, find a job, buy some nice clothes other than jeans, and discover new hobbies. Maybe if I can accomplish that I can woo him back. I will pursue him just like I did 20 years ago. Except, back then someone had to point out the meaning of my overtures.... 2 x 4 please!

Scaredsilly -
Well, I just got a new shipment of 2x4's in, so you're in luck - they're going fast around here lately!!! LOL!!!
I like your revved up attitude. It's good to work on yourself. I'd be careful with just doing it to win him back though......do it to make YOU feel better and improve YOURSELF and your self esteem and strength.
This way if it takes a while or doesn't go as planned - you will not be devastated further.
Concentrate on You for YOU and the rest will follow accordingly.
Hugs and Happy Rejuvenating!!!
Sheba

Sheba,
You're right. I'll hit him with the 2 x 4 later. Or maybe I'll save it to repair the backyard fence!
