Newly and I are at it again. And this time, we’ve got help from WishIWereHome.
We’re planning an MB get to get-together for the mid-atlantic region. The event will be held somewhere in the extended Philadelphia area. We haven’t decided where yet. I just would like to get a read on who may attend. If you’re interested, please either post here or shoot me an email, greengablesmb@hotmail.com. Include whether you’d like adults only or adults and kids, day or night, and if you have a budget in mind.

Thanks.

Heck I think I'll even put in for a vacation day on 5/21 and make a long weekend out of it.

I could use to get away from reality for a while.

Can you please count me in?

I would prefer an adults only gathering. If it is a weeknight, evenings are preferable. If it is a weekend, anytime is good for me.

Any price range is fine with me. Do you need any suggestions for restaurants or anything?

I would like to attend too. I am not particular on kids or no kids cause I love kids. I might bring some of my adult kids too. My schooling may be the only problem. Will ask to see if I can take my last exam at a different time. So for now, sort of thinking about it.

F4M are you really that close to us that you could attend? It would be great.
Any suggestions would be helpful too.
We met at Dave & Buster's in Philadelphia at the last outing, thinking this might be a central point for some people. It was loud and hard to find people.

Wish, find out what time the concert is. We'll schedule around that. Sounds like in general an evening would work better. No conflict with school. May 22 is a Saturday. And any suggestions would be welcome. D&B was neat, I'd never been before. But it was incredibly loud.

Listen, gang, put your ideas out there and ink this in to your filofax or palm.

We're doing it.

If you have any ideas about where, please send me an email -- greengablesmb@hotmail.com

What about an event type thing like the Camden River Sharks, if they're playing.

Another thing to think about...
Should we be allowed to bring non-MBers who might enjoy it?

I'm thinking about our separated or divorced or married and miserable friends who would benefit from meeting MBers.

GG Thanks for the concern but it is not necessary to reschedule around me. I still need to confirm the concert.

I am in the Phila. area and would be interested.

I notice the post is in the divorcing board. My WH and I are recovering...is this just for divorcees and/or Ds to be?

PS Dave & Busters is too loud for a get together that involves talking! LOL

Fraggles, we hope you and spouse can make it.
I'd love to hear a success story.
MB has helped us, even if using the principles wasn't able to save our marriages. I know I'm a better person for it.
