After a seven year marriage, I dealt with my wifes affair 5 months ago and was crushed then. Since then I thought we both learned so much about what we had been doing wrong during our marriage, ie, dates, communication, etc.
I came to head again, and she has said she just doesn't feel those feelings for me like in the beginning and is giving up. As much as I try to point out we had not been doing all those little things to be successful, she seems convinced I am not right for her. We have two young boys 3 and 6, the latter was born with a congential heart defect which we always have to deal with. There has been plenty of stress to say the least, and I know I am not perfect, but I never did have an affair either. What to do????? Our debt is so severe that it will be extremely difficult when we split. Is there any hope left, what else can we do? What can I do? If it were not for the boys I probably would have went off the deep end by now. Help.................

IF you are not currently working with a counselor. Find one immediately, you can't afford to go through this without one. Your boys need, more than most children, to have both parents there as they grow up, they already have more challenges than most children - with physical issues.

Hang in there - keep working toward making yourself a better person and keep hoping. There is always hope.

Find a Consumer Counseling Service that does not charge - and ask them to help you get out of debt. There may be grants and other programs to help that you are unaware of.

Don't stop till your situation is improved.

Don't give up and don't quit.

blessings,

Jan
