Hi All:

My signature says 14 April as the date of my divorce, but officially, it is today, 2 April. It is just that I did not open the decree until 14 April. So this is another kind of anniversary which many of us here have to face.

Main lessons I have learned:

You cannot change the heart of another person; the harder you push, the further they are pushed away

You should listen carefully to advice, but be very careful before you follow it

Adultery is the worst thing a man can do to a woman

Divorce is the worst thing a woman can do to a man

I am not alone, but it is also ok to be alone

There are consequences to my actions

A lonely person seeking another person will still be lonely with that person

Time is the devil, but also the healer

Crying is free; not crying is very costly

Pray alot

******

These are the ones that come to mind. Others will come to mind later.

Wishing all a nice weekend.

Thank you Newly,

I will add that one to my list.

Are there any other lessons learned out there which anyone would like to share. Let`s build a master list.

"There are many ways to skin a cat" Kept hearing that all last week and realized that God has many ways of accomplishing things.....ways we would never suspect or fully understand.
