I too am a Christian...He has been alot of my strength, unfortunatly we are still human! You had that link to the Counseling, do you know if tha includes counselors that embrace the Harley's concepts? I am trying to get someting going at our church too...it is very large but with a small attitude, but they have Divorce Care, but nothing to help SAVE the marriage to begin with! That is why I am asking...for my self too of course.

My sister, When I read your posts, even just the titles, I feel so bad for you. Imagine what Jesus feels for you, dear sister? He is crying with you, let him wrap you up in his arms tonight.
AACC has no set policy on who it lets in other than that you have to be a believer who is a liscensed counselor, psychologist or psyciatrist, or a student in one of these areas. So there is a range of counseling methods in the membership. I think that the best way to find out if someone uses the same things that the Harley's use is to honestly ask the counselor on the phone. You might also try the Harley's themselves, or their office to see if they have any recommendations in your area.
I want to commend you for helping so many others while your own heart is broken. 2 Cor. 1 says that we will comfort others with the same comfort God gives to us, and that is just what you are doing. I really believe that God has people for us to help that we could never help if we did not go through the sorrows we find ourselves in. God does not waste time, so this is not pointless suffering.
Would it be Ok for me ask if we could pray for each other's problems? My forst post telling of my issues in called "Lonely in a Good Marriage" on Jan 31.
Praying, Rich
