The other woman called my attorney's office two weeks post divorce after he finally dumped her for someone else.
I knew they were still together the last 4 years of our marriage but was tired of playing "spy" and just didn't care anymore.
Now that my suspicions are confermed and validated I feel as if the scab has been torn off the wound again.
Yes, I know, I should feel better knowing I did the right thing divorcing him.
Yes, I know, he was an abusive jerk and I should feel good but why do I feel so betrayed yet again?
What I do feel is sickened.
He turned friends and family against me through the process of divorce.
He made me out to be "the bad guy" for giving up on us and divorcing him.
All I want is an apology.
I need him to take responsibility for his actions and I know because of his NPD I will never get one.
A real one.

Aly

It will always hurt, and tear you up inside... that pain will only lessen a little in the future, but never fully disappear.
It's awful to realize, but it's the truth.

Kinda like my back... I hurt it real bad playing soccer in early High School. That injury never fully healed... I just learned how to accept, and live with the pain. It hurts no less than it did when I got out of the hospital, but, now, I hardly notice it most of the time.

I don't know if that helps... but I tried.
