well i been married for 6 years we lived in california when my ex deployed to iraq for 6 months. in those 6 months i found a few e-mail's sent to one of his friends in texas that stated to tell one of his ex soldiers that he still loved her. So me full of anger when he was deployed and he called i confronted him with the issue to make the story short i meet him in germany because we had been stationed there and our plan was that once he came back from iraq we would talk about the issue. well i went to germany just to live the worst hell ever.. as soon as i got there he was a changed man. first i thought it was because of the war he was changed but i came to find out it was because he had an affair with a married women in his unit. he put my 6 year old daughter through verbal abuse and me through physical abuse i came to find out he cheated on me by an anonymous letter that i got in my mail box that stated he had had a sexual affair with a soldier in his unit.. he walked out on me and my daughter saying that he was not happy in our marrige and that he wanted a divorced i pleaded with him to get help but he said no way. he left me with no money no food and no one to help me out in germany. he did not call or tried to help at all i contacted his kernel to see if they could talk some sence in him they did nothing for me but they sure sided with him. he played the victim part and denied the affair to me and his unit i got plane tickets to come home to my parents house in california that was october 23 2003 i have only talked to him once in january for i say about 5 minutes and just to ask him if he was ready to tell me the truth about his affair he chooses to deny it to me..he says it never happened he does not call his daughter at all or writes her his still in germany i dont know if to file for divorce or what? this is the last E-MAIL i got from him

I wouldn’t file for divorce, or give him any information he needs to file.

However, I do suggest you go to legal aid or a women’s shelter and talk with an attorney to find out what he can do to you. Have you filed for child support? I’m disappointed his Coronal wasn’t more supportive of you. “Fraternizing” among married people is usually frowned upon from what I hear.

I do think you’ve got a chance if you’re willing to be even more patient.

Did you report this to his command? I know that military is very family oriented and do not like any type of domestic abuse wether it be verbal or physical.

Don't let him get away with treating you any less than you deserve to be just because he say's he's sorry.
