I have been reading alot lately...everything from Mid life crisis to male depression.. I sincerely belive at 49 my husband is experience mlc. Everything encluding his A points to that. I did get him to go to the doctor(before I knew about the A.) He put him on Paxel but it caused problems with his bladder so instead of going back to the doctor he just stopped taking them. Is there any men here who has had an A and can tell me what anti depressant helped you>? I am trying everything to win him back! even if he doesnt want me at this point in his life. I have taken Serzone and Celexa. With both there were side effects, especially the loss of sexual desire and inability to have an orgasm. I am taking Wellbutrin S/R now which has none of these effects, in fact, it slightly increases sexual desire. A recent study of women with low sexual desire has shown that this anti-depressant increased sexual derire, almost like a female Vaigra! S/R stands for sustained release. Regular Wellbutrin is off patent now and should be cheaper.

I've been on wellbutrin for a number of years and think it's great. No negative side effects for me.
