Hello everyone - Just happened to run across my password and login for MB and thought I would check out who is still on here. I noticed that Llama and Wallace are still hanging around along with many others.
Sorry to see that there are still so many people going through what I did almost 2 years ago (end of September) and still so much pain.
I have moved on and I must say quit famously <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> I recently went on a 7 day cruise with my sister to the Caribbean and have never felt so relaxed in all my adult life. 2 days before we returned to the states I met a great guy and we have been conversing on a daily basis via e-mail and phone.
I have another male friend that is just coming up on a year since his D and we talk a lot about the healing process. He is not ready for any type of relationship at this point and he will be the first to admit it and as I have told him I wasn't at that point a year ago either.
I have learned a great deal about myself, what I want out of life and a relationship and just want to let those know who are at the hard part, that it will get easier but at your own pace and in your own time.
Take care of yourselves first and the rest will follow.

Hi IHABD,
Haven't heard from you in a long time.
Thanks for the update!
And yes... I'm still here. I can't think of a better place to still be considering all that has happened to us all.
Keep in touch and let us know how you are making out from time to time or whenever you get a chance.
Stay Strong!
Wallace

Hi Wallace - Have you recently heard from Free?
Things are at the scary stage on my new relationship as we are still getting to know each other. He is a wonderful guy but I feel like sometimes things are going too well. Not used to someone taking care of me and concerned about my feelings. This is all new.
He is visiting our fair state of Colorado this weekend and I will be traveling to CA to visit him in July.
Sounds like you have a bunch of stuff going on in your life right now too. Take care and if you talk with Free tell her that I asked about her.

Hi IHABD,
Every once in awhile Free pops in and gives an update.
Last I heard... she and her "H" and family are doing well. In fact they are doing very well.
She is a great inspiration, as she really was at wits end as you well know.
I get an email from her every now and then... but I haven't heard from her in awhile.
Concerning your relationship... I would take it slow and easy. I had to really put the brakes on my current relationship, as it was moving way to fast.
I believe that we all need some time to heal and confront our issues before going into any type of relationship that will have any kind of a chance of making it. If we don't do that... we will most probably end up just as we were before.
Good to hear from you!
Stay Strong!
Wallace
