GreenGables and Newly respectfully invite any of our fellow MBer’s to join us on Saturday, May 22nd for an evening out in Philadelphia at Bridget Foy’s on South Street at 5 pm. This is just an informal meeting so we won’t have a designated area. Just look for the people with the yellow post-its which say MB, and don’t forget to wear yours.

newly and gg,

Thank you for invitation. My R.S.V.P. is, unfortunately, regrets that I cannot attend.

Perhaps another opportunity will better coincide with my schedule... and location.

Best wishes for a fun and UPbuilding time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Ladies-

You're a bit far for me to travel, but I want you to know you'll be in my thoughts and I hope you have a blast.

Take care and God bless!

K

PS - I like the post-it note nametags, very chic!

I would like to come, but wont know til Tue or Wedif that will be possible.

Friday nite I will be at baby shower for boyfriends, stepsons baby shower. His wife is having twins and his stepson is close with his stepdad, so they included us in their wedding dinner (not his mom!) and now they want me at the baby shower. Only problem is, boyfriends ex wife may be there, she has not responded and from what I understand from everyone, is on the dysfunctional edge of normal. She doesnt know about me, and I will be introduced just as a friend of the mother to be. So this should be interesting!! If I make it on Sat nite I may have some interesting stories!!! LOL..you could pray for me. Last time boyfriend saw his ex she tried to stab him with an ice pick!!!

Ill catch up again later. I would like to meet you guys.
Smiles,
Dawn

GG, I'm beginning to think this will just be us.
Which is OK too. Ready for a late night out in Philly?

Yes, just us and our other supportive friends met.
If any other MBers were there, we didn't see them.
And I had my yellow postit up, but I think the waiter took it.

We've met before and have gotten together a few times, although we live about 2 hours apart. Our children are similar ages. It's just nice to meet someone, and understand their perspective.

Next weekend, I'll do a kid's day in Philly. My friend wants to "Ride the Duck" with the kids, this is the car which can go into the water. Should be interesting.
