I have been reading a great book which was written for men....it is Wild at Heart by J. Eldredge. It is about the 3 desires that men and women have. I saw some of myself in this book. It validated how I feel and it confirmed for me that God has made me a certain way. I highly recommend this book to men cause it's realness is refreshing. It is written by a Christian.
One of the questions that alludes me lately: Does man and woman need each other to be complete? I have heard some on these boards say that they are complete and do not need a man/woman to make them complete. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT AT ALL. God made us for each other just as he made us to have friends and family. I do not feel complete at all. Am I emotionally sick cause I feel this way?
Would love to hear some thoughts on this.

You could also speak with a Shaker . . . if there are any left. Having no progeny isn't the best way to insure a belief system is passed to the next generation.

tossed,
I seen this while at work today but cannot login from work. So have thought about it some. My thought is, complete is different for each person, some may need that other person to feel whole, some may not. Who is to say what is complete for me is the same as for you!
Right now with where my life is I am happy!! I am not looking or seeking out that other person, if that person is dropped into my life so be it, but I am not searching. Do I miss the things that I shared with my X, yes very much, do I feel cheated that he is not here sharing in these things, yes very much so. Am I ok, yes very much so. But I believe that it is a choice that I made.
So for you complete may be that other person making you a whole, and that's ok for you, and that is what really matters, is you and what you want and need!!!!
Hope that everything is going ok with you!!!! What did your boys do for you for mother's day? This year I got 2 rose bushes, I just got to dig the wholes to plant them, I was thinking one could should have bought the bush and the others dig the whole, I would have been happy with 1 rose bush!!!
