They just laid off 10 hourly employees. From the unemployment office.
Among the people who were laid off: -the woman who had her breasts heaving out her nicklines
-the man who used his disc jockey training when taking claims
-the man who wore hose, pumps, makeup, large stud earrings, a headband, and a bra
-and a lot of not so competent people.

Layoffs are always scary.
My company's corporation was just taken over by an investment firm.
The only question I have is what catagory are you gonna fall in?
Do they have a princess catagory <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

They have this wonderful classification called "career service" or 'civil service'. It would take a statewide departmental reduction in force for them to do anything to me. We have lots of hourly and interim employees they would probably have to do away with first.
I am totally not worried.
But I'm glad I don't have to listen to the disc jockey or look at the man who wears a bra.

The boob queen was not. The bra-wearing man was ok. The disc jockey was fairly competent - but he didn't take guidance very well - what do you expect from a man smart enough to go through boot camp with 3 different branches of the military.
