I just found this site and am very excited. I've read through a couple posts and wanted to know where I should go look for abbrev. meanings and thought the info on the bottom where you listed your status info. age, divorce date etc. was a good idea. How does that work? What do you suggest I do first?

For the abbreviations, go to the Emotional Needs board and read the first post. Oldtimers have put it there to give newcomers directions.

Also read the concepts on the site and/or get the HN/HN book to truly understand.
And the profile is added when you sign in, but can be updated.
Good Luck.

dsd67---what is your story? are you divorcing? or is there a chance to work on your marriage? This specific board is for those of us who have worked very hard at rebuilding our marriage but found that our spouses were not willing to work things out to rebuild so we are either divorced or divorcing.

When I started, I read everything. I mainly posted on Gen Questions. Dr Harley gave direction and insight into many things and I was able to make healthy decisions on what he said and what others on the boards had experienced and shared.
