Someone recently mentioned what to do with our 11 X 14 wedding picture in my moms house. She has each of our Senior pictures and our wedding picture underneath. There are 5 of us and with pictures that big you definately would notice the gap. Do we take it down or leave it? I think the ONLY reason I would leave it is because we have kids togehter. I am thinking down the road later when I bring someone that I am dating over to my parents how that would play out....What do you think would be the proper thing to do?

Go and have an 11 x 14 picture of your children made and hang it in the spot your wedding picture hung.

Great idea Blady!!
I think thats an excellent choice.
When you take the pic down though, save it for your kids. They are a product of the love you two once shared. Without your love/marriage, you wouldn't have your little joys!

I think the picture of your kids is a great idea. My parents had a similar thing at their house. So did my XMIL. So I went to have a picture of my kids to replace the wedding pictures. When we got their the photographer insisted that I be in the picture as well so now in place of my old wedding picture I have a wonderful family picture of the kids and I. My XMIL actually had the nerve to hang it at her house to, but my XH went balistic saying how it would hurt the OW, wasn't proper since we were divorced, etc. so she moved it into her bedroom to appease him.

Take care and God bless!

Picture of you with your children......that's the way to go. And rearrange the pictures, if you wish, so that everything is not lined up with senior picture on top and wedding picture below. Go with the "hunt them out' approach of a looser arrangement - randomly arranged.
