We are remarried but seperated and we are working to rebulid our marriage. My problem is while we were divorced my H and my cousin had a child together. My problem is that I see her as the OW. I need ideas on how to deal with this.

I applaud you for trying to work out your marriage with your H. There obviously must still be love between you to.! As far as the child goes, remember he or she is totally innocent. Unfortunately, the child has been placed in a very challenging cirumstance, as well as you.
I pray you will be able to distinguish between the challenge you may feel towards the circumstance and the innocence of the child.
I wish you the best!

You might get some help from the Board for couples dealing with the same situation. Not too many have an OW/OC situation where the OW is also a relative. That puts another spin on things, but you might get support if that is what you want.
Texasgirl

Thanks. I have no problem with the child. I know she didn't ask to be born into this situation. My problem is dealing with her mother. Technically she isn't the OW. We were legally divorced at the time. We remarried before the child was born. Although we are seperated at this point. The problem is, I see her as the OW. I need to know how to deal with the fact that she is gonna be around. I see no way to stop my husband from having any contact with her. I know what type of person she is, so I know the temptation will be there for him. Should I put my foot down and tell him the only contact with the child's mother is to be through me?
