Hi gang.
After all the good responses on my Rump Roast thread, I have decided to clean house:
I like my hair the length and style it is, but I am doing my hair a lighter, summer strawberry blonde color (same as natural color, just lightening it a bit)
I am painting my nails and toenails FireEngine Red!!!
I bought myself two new summer outfits that have lowcut tops
I am also working on a new diet/exercise program to lose some weight and feel better about myself.
NOW... the next thing I think I need to do is change my screenname. Of course, I would still have to log on as FaithfulWife because that can't be changed, but what shows to the board CAN be changed.
So I am holding a one-week contest to rename CJ!! Next Saturday night I will choose my new name and I want your suggestions!! I was thnking of FaithfulCJ or maybe FaithfulWolfe to start.
Get your juices flowing and your imaginations in high gear and post your suggestions here. Many of you'all know me and have known me for a long time--I'd like a name that reflects the new me and looks to the future, and not a mom or wife name (because although I am a mom, I don't want that to be my only definition).
Gnome or Hobbit might work....

Okay honey. I'll think of a new name for a new life for our CJ.
All the things you're doing are great, but just know, you are beautiful inside AND out. And that shines thru .... we love you.

The word "contest" implies a prize....perhaps an all-expense paid trip to Hawaii????
BTW, I have enjoyed reading the responses on the Firey butt thread, lol. Will be interesting to see where this one goes, too. Are you looking for real names or will "HotBabe" work as a name??
Your humor and thoughtful posts are always great for me to read!
PS...I always think of "gnomes" and "hobbits" as male-oriented names, LOL [ June 26, 2004, 03:48 PM: Message edited by: avondale25 ]

Ohhhhhh!!!!!!! Fun!!!!!!!!!!!
Good for you, CJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rename the best Lady-In-Waiting in the whole, wide world.
OneSmartCookie HotPants The One and Only Fabulous CJ Super CJ Wonderful Woman Mile-High Mama (well, maybe that has some negative meaning so maybe that is not a good choice)
I'll think of some more.
BTW, I'm disappointed there was no quick response to my Jose Feliciano reference on the other thread.

MYLF - (taken from american pie, from the first person rather than the possesive!)

It's not very clever, but I like FaithfulWoman. It provides a sense of continuity.
Hmm. Maybe I should change my name too. I'm thinking maybe GrossDomesticProduct.

KeepingFaith???
Just thinking of how I see you. I believe it fits!
Because you are keeping the faith - even though your marriage failed, you haven't let that set you back or take you down, you got up and "kept the faith"!!! You are STILL a believer!
Blessings,
Jan

Jo--
Wow! That's high praise from a fellow-oldie. We love you too! BTW, did you notice something fun? We are the women with two-lettered names!
* * * * *
Avondale25--
You want a prize huh? Let's see ... I think a trip to the Caribbean might work--or some of WIWH's peanut butter cup BUCKETS! YAY!!! Now *I* want to win!
* * * * *
Your royal majesty--
First, I am so honored that a princess would respond on my humble thread! Okay, I like the name OneSmartCookie because a)I'm smart and b)I like cookies--haha . But I think Mile-High Mama may be a better word for me because I AM indeed one mile high, and I AM a little bit naughty...so it kinda fits.
Second, your Jose Feliciano reference was hilarious and I snorted a pea right into my nose from laughing so hard--so while I was unconscious I could not reply on the Butt BBQ thread. Lo and behold, I also appreciated the fluted champagne glass comment--although I think mine are more like a cappuccino cup! haha!
* * * * *
RookKev--
ROFLABAF (rolling on floor laughing my burnt a$$ off!)!! I think I'm complimented! BTW, shouldn't it be HMYLF (assuming H=hot,Y=the pronoun YOU)?? Okay, this is one mom reference I don't mind!
Oh where is that devil emoticon when you need it. RookKev, you have been naughty! Do you need a spanking???
* * * * *
GDP--
FaithfulWoman. Wow--your imagination is endless. Haha! BTW, welcome home...missed ya! I want to hear all about it, okay?? But back to the topic at hand. I like the continuity idea and keeping the faithful part because I'm proud of that, but ... maybe FaithfulChick??
* * * * * *
Jan,
I do not know what to say. Your suggestion is awesome and I'm just impressed that you think of me that way. I really do like KeepingFaith, because it really is kinda me. Do you like peanut butter cup buckets???
Thanks for all the suggestions so far, folks. This is fun!!
CJ

Well, to help out those fellows who have been unable to perceive your inner and outer beauty, I'll suggest ColoradoCutie.
Something like "beautiful inside and out, with character and brains" is just too long, so I went with something short and alliterative.

I am so NOT good at this whole creative thing.
Maybe I'm approaching this wrong. I don't have to think of a clever name, but to solve the problem of what name to give CJ.
Well, nothing has come to mind other than a new signature line, so stay tuned...
Tony

Peanut butter cups with EXTRA chocolate coating are the BEST!!! I'm particularly fond of the ones with some extra peanutty flavor in the peanut butter.
Dark chocolate - doesn't matter - if it's chocolate - it's gotta be good.
Oh - Chocolate peanutbutter mocha Cappaccino!!! Double YUM!!!
Now, explain to me why I would NOT think of YOU as a very FAITHFUL woman who is KEEPING her faith?
Sometimes, we forget who CREATED us, and don't remember to give him credit, when we are feeling a bit down on ourselves. I do NOT believe HE makes mistakes! CJ - you are an amazing woman!!! Don't ever forget it. Even with a BBQ'd butt tattooed with 'Roo Girls' you still have the competition beat (unless it's me )
Blessings,
Jan

Actually, FaithfulWoman was on my list initially but it fell into a hole in my swiss cheese like ADD brain.
Swiss Cheese and Rump Roast. We'd make a good pair.
