Odyssey and BTN-
Sorry I missed your posts the other day! So kind of you to check on me. I have been posting on another thread.
My update - my ex continues to call every day - but no relationship talk - thankfully.
He talks about the Ex OW, and his struggles to fight the restraining order against him. He invited me to dinner last night, with younger son. I went - but did not get into any serious discussions. We are actually going to Seattle this weekend with younger son and a friend - I had 4 Mariners tickets.
BUT - I do not believe that he is serious about "coming back". When I am with him his phone will ring, he will look at it, but not answer it. Hmmm. Wonder why. Also - I checked his profile on Match.com today and it says he was active within the hour. Also, when I am with him he says he was talking to his "friend" Mary. I know that "Mary" is just a friend at this point. He has told me several times that she has a BF. But he talks to her daily. I have no doubt that he hopes she will get rid of her BF, and then he will swoop in.
So I do not entertain any ideas of reconcilliation. In some ways, this is better. Now I no longer feel guilty If I don't take him back. His mouth says one thing - his actions say another. I am sure the relationship talk will come up again, and now I am confident to say "sorry, I do not beleive you are truly ready to commit to me".
So I am in a good place right now. Single, but OK.

It looks like your reconnecting to a man that has shown you he hasn't changed. You might not realize it, but by talking to him everyday your still getting pulled in.
