I'm new to this but I found out in March that my h was having an affair. Her husband called me as they spent the weekend together. He wants a divorce and I don't. (Not sure why I don't except to say that I made a covenent to God till death due us part.) Anyway we have basically been leading separate lives now. Things are moving really slow but I'm so afraid of starting over again. This would be my 2nd divorce. I'm seeing a counselor (not much help). But can't stay the way the situation is for much longer. I've lost a lot of weight, not eating. My friends are great at trying to get me out but I'm miserable. I pray and pray for him, us but it is getting difficult. Any suggestions do I lose this guy and move on. I'm not happy either but really feel our problems were/are repairable. He doesn't feel that way so do I give up???? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Read this entire site. All of it. It will give you information and hope. Tomorrow, go to your library and get Surviving An Affair, His Needs/Her Needs and LoveBusters.

Start Plan A immediately after reading the books.

I suggest you also get an appointment with either Steve Harley or another marriage counselor that specializes in infidelity.

Have you posted on Just Found Out board? Weekends are slow around here.

Welcome. Hugs. It will get better, one way or another.
